The process color printing method separates an image into four different color values: cyan, magenta, yellow, and key (or black). When transferred to printing plates and then printed, these four colors reproduce the original image in halftone dots. In fact, almost all colors can be reproduced from this method. Our printers use fine line screens to maintain a design’s details.
Although most colors can be reproduced with this method, we can also add a 5th spot color plate. A spot color is a premixed ink that matches a Pantone color number. By adding the 5th plate, we ensure that every color in your label matches its original design.
